New Rococo Home Dies - Ornamental Keyhole & New Home Keys

Hello crafters, certainly not as long an absence as in the past! I'm back again with the new Rococo Home Die Collection.  Such a beautiful collection I hardly know where to start but think I'll go with the Keys and Keyhole :)

Hello again..... Normal Service Has Resumed :)

Good Morning Folks

I'm such a bad blogger :( Life gets in the way and it just seems like too much to catch up on but I'm here now and that's what counts.

The next couple of posts will be a catch up of what I haven't had chance to put on here over the last few weeks (months.... oops)

What I've decided to do, because this is my Tonic Studios Design Team blog is to show you all the cards I make for every launch on Create and Craft, I'll also try and get a link to my Pinterest board on the sidebar and they'll all be in there too.

One Day Wonder Nuvo Crystal Drops

Hello again lovely crafters.  Today I have a card I made for the launch of the new colours in Nuvo Crystal Drops from Tonic Studios.

This amazing product has so many uses, not only do you get such amazing domed accents on your card you can also paint with them or more to the point, sponge colour onto your card as I've done here.

Here, I've sponged the Ivory Seashell and the Liquid Mercury together until it resembled a marble effect.   I apologise for the dreadful photo but I didn't think about taking a good one until it was all stuck together :/ 

I made a rocker card out of the Twisting Veranda Die Set, cutting the largest outside edge and pattern dies and lining with a deep red.  I cut the outer edge of the next size down and used this for my sponged effect, adding the smaller layer outer and pattern cut with a red base again, topped off with the Ascot Pillbox Die Set from the Millinery Collection.  I finished my card off with a double layered bow and some Autumn Red Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Tonic Studios Venetian Lace and Twisting Veranda Die Sets

Hi everyone, thanks for dropping in to see my new card using the Tonic Studios Layering Dies which are being launched on Create and Craft tonight at 9pm. 

For this card I've mixed both of the new sets.  I cut the actual card blank with the Twisting Veranda but cut the layers with the Venetian Lace and topped it off with one of the fabulous Miniature Moments sentiment dies.  Finished off with a lovely puffy bow and lots of Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Rococo Baby Collection - Cuddly Bear and Tiny Treasure

 

Hello crafters :)

There are some fantastic new dies on Create and Craft this evening and throughout the coming weekend from Tonic Studios, the new range of Baby Themed Rococo Dies and co-ordinating Miniature Moments sentiment dies.  The card I have to share with you this evening is made using the Tonic Studios Scalloped Circle dies with the Circle Pinhole die which has been stitched.  I added some layers using the Star Layering die set and used the Cuddly Bears Rococo die but trimmed one of the bears off, this was paper pieced in a lighter brown kraft card.  I used the bow from the Royal Carriage Rococo die and some buttons from the Patchwork Perfections Square Stitch Die and Emboss set.  The sentiment was shadowed, inked through the die and layered onto half of a scalloped circle to match the card base.  I finished this card off with some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bubblegum Pink.
