I Miss You Deco Trellis

For today's Tonic Studios Design Team share, I've made an A5 portrait card blank with a top fold by folding a sheet of A3 card in half and then cutting it in half so you have two card blanks.  I cut my layers, matt silver and light pinky purple leaving a small border each time.  As I wanted to make my Topper Inner die cut out of the top layer, I placed my Deco Trellis die on and lined it up to where I wanted it on the finished card, I put the Inner Topper die in place and taped it down.  This was then put through the die cutter and stuck into position on top of the silver layer on your card front.

For the quilted Deco Trellis panel I cut the outer edge then instead of cutting the cutting die, I just embossed it, it gives a wonderful effect, finally I cut the centre panel of this out with the smaller outer edge die.  I mounted this on 3d foam and positioned it over my die cut message.

I used the Small Lacy Bow dies and cut both sizes for my paper bow but used the tails from the Large Lacy Bow die set which I layered onto a matching thin silver strip of card which was stuck onto the bottom of the layered card.

The card was simply finished with some pretty lilac pearls top and bottom and one on the dot of the 'i'.

I hope you like it,

  9. Beautiful card....love the gorgeous rich purple you have used. Your cut out elements are lovely and the textured layer sets the card off perfectly.
