For this Art Deco card I used a shop bought 8" x 8" scalloped edge card blank which I scored at 1 1/2" on both the front and the back. I added a ribbon in a beautiful shade of royal blue with a pearly ribbon slider, I then added some double sided tape to the inside from the fold to the score line and stuck this portion of the card together. This gives me my top border.
For the main card section, I cut a layer of bright blue gloss finish card and topped this with a layer of white, leaving a small border showing. I cut my patchwork die four times onto a square of card, turning my die by 90 degrees for every cut so they are all facing a different way, I used my square layering dies to cut this out perfectly only leaving the smallest of borders, I cut the same size out in white to layer underneath then cut the next sized square in the blue to layer under that. I glued the patchwork to the white and mounted this on 3d foam before layering onto my blue square and onto the card front.
I cut a frame using the smaller layering squares and cut one of the Keepsake Foiled Message Panels to fit inside, layered these on 3d foam and stuck to the centre of my patchwork.
Finally I cut the small border die in blue and glued it to the side.
I hope you like it
